junied,i'm using EP9315. So for the stage now i need to try some code on it. Does anyone know that, izzit the the C code is just same like how i write the C code for all microcontroller?

Does this e-book that i get from here is a suitable reference? ----> ARM system developer's guide. Designing and optimizing system software.
any other reference book or journal that i can refer to?
I still need some other info.thanks alot.
i'll glad to share my project here.
thanks again.

Nice to here that u r using one of the best arm 9 microcontrollers first of all i would like to say
that u will have to use linux with this processor as it supports it,so all kinds of modules and drivers for usb and web cam are available for interfacing;
regarding the books go for the linux based books as u will have to compile u r codes in linux operating system the book on arm we have is a basic book and it will not be useful for u;
Regarding compiling of codes arm-linux-gcc is available on cyrus website
Tell me r u starting u r project from scratch,i mean from a single IC,or u have a module with u

hey guys.A question to ask. why people said that can run LINUX OS on EP9315?izzit means install the linux OS in the ARM9 pro?

no.. you compile linux on your PC first.. if you want to configure it yourself.. or just use the ports already available... its not actually means installing, its called porting. I have provided the links above.. will give you all the information about Porting Linux of ARM. Check the documentation.

I think that means weather we can run linux os on arm?
and answer is yes
although 9315 is the best choice to have linux os on it,
and ajay is right installing an os on embedded chip is called as porting
and go through the detailed documentation about 9315.

hey~ as i know, for the ARM part i can put aside. because i'm using linux base to write C programming so i need some info about the coding part.i found that all the C programming books wont help me at all in for example,i want to open a video file and do some motion detection on it.Any idea guys? i'm still working on it.
