Hi Venkat,
i think you are not attaching the file properly or.. you are not uploading the correct filetype.
Please make sure the file is from the below provided file types:

| .c | .h | .asm | .src | .zip | .gz | .jpg | .png | .gif | .rar | .pdf | .txt |

And if your file is one of the above mentioned extensions, then please try to follow these steps...
1. to reply, click on post reply button below.
2. type your message/reply
3. click on the browse button in the attachment area
4. select the file to attach
5. click on the post reply button
---
if you are still not able to attach the file.. then.. do this..
go to rapidshare.com upload your file there, and post your link here...
hope this will help you.

i saw your code and circuit. the connections are ok.. but i don't understand one thing in your code..
why do you have two main() functions in your code.. as you know in C programs there can be only 1 main function.

As i guessed from two different programs... you were initializing the RTC with one program. and then reprogram your controller to read the data with the other program. I hope i am right..
But venkat, as you know that the RTC doen't have a backup supply so whatever data is there will be lost when you take off the power and reprogram to read the data again.
So the clock will again behave as if its just started now.. and u will not get changed data everytime.

Suggestion:
Write an initialization function within the reading file.. where you put all the data which is needed for initialization of RTC and then in your main function.. call that init function.
This way in single program... initialization as well as reading will be done so.. you might get the results you want.
Will be waiting for reply.. probably fast this time
