hai Ajay,

I have developed one remot control home lightings system,In that it has option to control four lights and one fan .I am using triac to control fan and controlling fan speed by Phase angle controll method but i am facing problem when i try to controll fan in portion of ac wave other flourecent lights starts to flicker so please guide me how to do AC fan control without affecting other loads connected same AC Supply...

Well you game me indication that students also need some electronic circuits which can be useful for them in their projects.
I have uploaded a circuit named "AC motor Control"
In that circuit you can replace the potentiometer to vary voltage with your own logic. So you can control AC motor speed.. check it.

i have all hardware setup to do AC Phase angle control but thieris some bug in my program which i cannot notice,so can you give sample Code C to do Phase angle control....
Here I will explain my logic in briefe:
I am using MCT2E Opto coupler to determine AC zero cross using zero cross as interrupt(INTO) in my program,in the Interrupt routine i am running timer to generate delay in Each AC half Cycle and after timer overflow i am going to drive triac (using MOC3011)
in that half cycle hence regulating power to Load in Each half cycle AC wave...The timer value depend up Fan Speed Selected

I actually know just the normal PWM based phase angle control as i never worked with 3-phase motor.
but i think its just the same, here you have to control 3 AC supplies and you need 3 PWMs. Can you please post the circuit?
use www.imageshack.us to upload your image
and put the direct link to image in [ img ] and [ /img ] tags *remove spaces.

If you have any idea about controlling 3-phase motor then please share.. maybe i can help programming.
