I have a question
I have renamed page.php?3 to videoproducties.html
Is it true that google is indexing 3 pages now?
1. page.php?3
2. page3.html
3. videoproducties.html
If google is indexing 3 pages than i will have a lot of double content on my site and it will be ranked badly. First of all is this true, and if it is true how can i fix this?
Thanks a lot

well it depends on google, if you have just 1 link that is visited most then others get discarded. i checked this. rather you can do this way.. put permanent redirect on page3.html
then there wont be any problem. even if you dont put a redirect even then wont be a problem at all.

I watched the other topic http://www.8051projects.net/forum-t9172.html
And put this in the htacces file:
redirect 301 /page3.html videoproducties.html
But the result after the redirect is a questionmark in my url = videoproducties.html?3
Also i tried to put in the htacces file:
RewriteRule /page3.html /videoproducties.html [R=301,L]
But this does not redirect anything?
Any other ideas?

make sure you have this rule before the custom page rule coz otherwise it will get override. As i said, its not that important coz if you dont visit that page, then google wont give it priority. but its good to have redirect.
