brother im a 3rd year student of bsc electronics engineering.i implemented a CLOCK project using 8051 programmed in c and used 4 seven  segment displays.i want to put a delay of exact 1s in program.can u help me how to write it exactly correct.
plz brother also tell me about some simple projects of 8051 WHICH I CAN PROGRAM MYSELF...PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ YAR PLZZZZZZZ
mujhay guide kernay wala koi bhi nahin  hay. aur mein her waqt tension mein hi rehta honnn.plzzzz yar help ker do

I hope you have seen my AT89C4051 as RTC. i implemented full clock with calander you can take a look at it that will help you. I know its hard to calculate 1 Sec delay. but you need to keep a watch with u. and vary the delay.
If you are using Assembly programming then make use of the utility "Time 8051" a delay calculator. will help you in providing exact time delay as you want along with the Subroutine

I think, you should use RTC DS3231 combine AT89C51, Part display you should LCD DM2002 to replace led. I will Post this program and Schematic in lately, this program have enough anything you need, see you tomorrow.

it's right.a delay program using 8051 may not work exactly eventhought u calculate carefully.there are many ideas lick that,using DS3231.i intend to do a one.so,waitting your reply,Thu

i know.. we cannot make a perfect RTC, but.. this is just a small project to make something which is closer to it... well i used C language.. i think if we use assembly then we can come even more closer.. leaving the calender part outside...
well.. you all both are talkin about the hardware RTC, which is already made.. this thread was about advancement in the AT89C4051 as RTC project, to make it more better.. using a hardware RTC make this project to loose its importance hope you understand now
