We are using SIM900A module. We are having two vodafone sim cards. Earlier purchased card works fine and we get +CPIN : READY message. However, newly purchased card shows +CPIN : NOT READY message. Actually, both cards are working fine when inserted into mobile phone.

Can you suggest what is happening?

You should contact simcom for this. It could be related to module firmware. What kind of sim card is it? 32k/64k?
